Question about baseball card grading?
I know baseball cards get graded on their condition, but is it also graded on how rare it is? Like, I have a deck of 2008 Topps cards and I'd like some of them I'd like to get graded because they are my fav players and the cards are already in good condition, but would the number go down because it is 2008 and you can almost get them at any store, unlike some older cards? Thanks.
I know the price value will be worth more later, but will the GRADING go down if I were to send them in now because they aren't as rare?
You are misinformed - grading does not take into account a card's rarity or value, only on its physical condition. Now, a 2008 card in mint condition would obviously be more common than a 1978 card in mint condition, but the condition is the same even if their values aren't.
