Why won't they let me play baseball?
a year ago, when I was 8, I was playing baseball, I was next up to bat, when the person up to bat hit the ball and it came and hit me directly in the eye, my mom got me to teh nearest hospital, they gave an eye patch for it, I had to go over to Halifax, it was the closest place that they could look at my eye at, and I live in London England, while in halifax, we found out that I have perminite damage in that one eye, I had to take eye drops for a while, and I couldn't attend school until October, but now it's a year later, my eye's better, It still bother me at times, but i'm brave, so I tried to go back to baseball again, the couch wouldn't let me play, I know I damaged my eye, but i can still see ok, the doctor said that if anything else happens to teh one eye, I could lose the sight in that eye, but it seems ok, and yet they won't let me go in it, how does he even know anything happened, I didn't see the couch at the game last year, so tell me why they won't let me play now!
I think they should let you play, I play raquet ball and wear special goggles, that are hollow in the center but hard plastic around the eye. Check it out in your local sporting goods store. Maybe they will let you play with them. You can take a ball straight to the eye and still not get hurt.
