Choosing A Baseball Glove
Choosing A Baseball Glove
Baseball Glove Brand?

OK, i am going to get another baseball glove but i cant choose between a Wilson or Rawlings. I have always had a Rawlings but it always seems they go floppy... i have heard that Wilson gloves use harder leather, so will that mean they wont get floppy?

-I play high school varsity shortstop
-Money is not a factor
-I want my glove to look good while being efficient
- Rawlings or Wilson?
- A2K vs A2000
-Pro preffered vs Heart of the hide
-please try not to be biased.

thanks

Go with the Wilson they wont get floppy. I too play high school varsity baseball and have two A2000(pitching and outfield) for a year and one A3000(infield) for about four years and they are still good and not floppy with good care. The thumbs of the Wilsons have fiber glass in them to keep them in shape so you don't want to bend the thumb or it will break. Its no big deal though. The A2K is good but I prefer the A2000 because it feels better to me a seems to be harder. A2K vs. A2000 is how it feels to you. There are many different types of the A2000 for infield as well. Wilson also somewhat molds to your hand for added feel. I would definitely go with Wilson. I personally do not like Rawlings at all. Hope this helps and Good Luck!
