ideas for costume?!?!?
i'm making my own alice in wonderland costume for halloween, b/c i don't like the ones from the internet, and i don't want my costume to be slutty. does anyone have any off the wall ideas, like what materials i should use, the colours, and if it should be a dress, skirt, or pants instead of the classic dress? any tips, or themes on alice that have never really been done before? thanx.
Get a cute satin,or silk dress ( light blue) . Make sure it's probably above your knees, short as possible, as long as you're comfortable. Get some flats, maybe black and sparkly if you are if you want it to be edgy. Or those ones with lace that wrap around your legs. That will make guys stare! Anyway, some thing i do is wear a necklace and ribbon. Get a black satin ribbon, and tie it around your neck, slightly tight. The knot should be on the side of your neck. Then get a metal link choker over it. Also maybe tie a black ribbon a bit above your waist. Now if your a blond, that's good. But if your not, get some fake blond highlights. Don't get a wig pleez. Only if you really want to, but you are more than likely to take it off in 2 minutes or less. Wear your hair up. Or like in the movie in a half ponytail. But try a messy bun if you like. Oh, and by the way, you could wear some pantyhose too. White or skin color, nuthin else. It'll look tacky. Go with white for traditional, skin color for that edgy, flaired type. (I would choose skin color) But make sure you look like Alice. If you change it too much, no one will know who you are. For makeup, keep it simple. But play it up on the eyes. BE SPARKLY! Make your lashes bigger by using mascara. Maybe if you are daring enough, use red lipstick. But i would never do that. Im not that brave unfortunately. I wouldn't worry that much about makeup. Okay, that's the best i got. Have fun!
