Ryan Howard 1B--Obviously a stud, and Philadelphia is even better this year.
Lance Berkman 1B,OF--Use him in the OF; very good fantasy baseball player, but Houston's lineup is questionable.
Jason Bay OF--If Bay is your #2 outfielder, you're looking good!
Garrett Atkins 3B--Solid at the hot corner.
Robinson Canó 2B--Good 2B at a very weak position. Don't expect the same batting average, but he'll produce in the Yankees lineup.
Hideki Matsui OF--Your outfield is stacked! He's healthy this year, so expect good things again.
Carlos Guillén SS--Underrated. 20/20? Solid player; solid lineup in Det.
John Lackey SP--Good SP; good team (neither is great)
Corey Patterson OF--There's your speed. In a full season, expect good, good things. Use him in your utility spot.
Scott Kazmir SP--If he played for the Yankees, we'd be talking about the next great Yankee pitcher (in addition to Hughes)! He doesn't, but he'll still
Justin Verlander SP--Solid pitcher, pitching in a pitcher's park.
Pedro Martínez SP--Hurt; get him in your DL slot. It may be awhile until he gets back.
Jason Isringhausen RP--Good closer...looks like you didn't overpay either.
Ryan Freel 2B,3B,OF--Value and flexibility.
Eric Gagne RP--Pray for health! If healthy, look for 35 saves, a 3.00 ERA and about a K/inning. Good numbers, but he'll never be the same.
Jason Varitek C--Good, you didn't overpay at catcher. That said, Varitek pretty much stinks. See if any young catchers are available.
Melvin Mora 3B--good one, but looks like he'll play sparingly for you.
José Contreras SP--Check out his 1st half vs 2nd half splits from last year; if he's struggling, drop him!
Nick Johnson 1B--hurt; drop him if you want.
A.J. Pierzynski C--See Varitek comment
Jim Edmonds OF--still solid, but you have plenty of depth in the OF.
FA:
Rich Aurilia 1B,2B,3B,SS--he has a good spot in the Giants' order and look at the position flexibility. (Not that you need that!)
Javy López C--NO!
Bengie Molina C--See how he plays
Ryan Shealy 1B
Plácido Polanco 2B
Troy Tulowitzki SS--Keep an eye on this guy. I'm reading that he's as good as sliced bread!

Check to see if Oliver Perez is available, and keep an eye on him. May be poised for a big one!
I'd watch your progress in steals and saves. You could probably improve in those two areas. That said, you're a contender.
