Does anyone know about FLEER Baseball Cards (1990) -Any of them valuable?
I want to purchase a box of FLEER BASEBALL cards & stickers (674) of them in mint condition in a box from the factory. Are there any certain ones that are more valuable then others? I don't want to overpay or underpay. They belonged to a friend of the family who has passed. I know if I go to a card place they will tell me they're not worth squat and offer to purchase them for little or nothing! I don't want to get ripped off!! Can someone help me. Please don't tell me to go to E-bay or Craig's list. Because I'm not very computer literate and just need an answer. Please?!! I would like to give these to my grandson but I don't want to look stupid-cause I know nothing about them. If they're valuable, he would be thrilled!! Please someone give Grandma some advice??!! Or rather some ANSWERS!!
A 1990 set of fleer cards you can buy on ebay for literally $5. It was one of the most over produced sets in history. I had a large box, tv sized, that held mostly 1990 cards, Fleer, Donrus, Topps, that if you went through, pulled all the cards you could have made 10-12 full sets and I was able to sell the whole thing for $20 bucks, I kid you not. Don't waste your money.
The set is worth $15 or less, and it's a buyers market so if you pay more than $5, you're paying too much. Trust me, I'm an adult who's been around a while and collected those cards then and couldn't give them away now.
