My First Baseball Draft... (12 team league) I have holes, can you give me some help?
Here is my roster... I'm definitely weak at 1st and Pitching... any ideas to help me out would be great. I'm a football guy trying to get into baseball.

I woudln't say you are weak at 1B. If Helton is healthy, he can give you some power and average. Garko may be a bit iffy but he will give you some power if he gets plenty of playing time.
I would drop both Frank Thomas and Barry Bonds. Otherwise, your outfield looks decent. A good utility player would help. Someone that can is eligible at a couple of positions.
Your pitching is average. Liriano is coming of an injury. I believe Escobar is injured. Burnett, if he is/can stay healthy (big if) would be good. Billingsley, eh. RP's are good. Although another closer would help.
