What is the future of the celtics?
The celtics have one of the best cores in basketball now, but what will become of this team in 2 years where most of its sawvy veterans(KG,PP,Ray ALLEN) will not be as effective against other younger teams? boston has no younger prospects beyond perk and rondo. being a boston fan i see nothing but doom! dynasties are built through the draft, and we have no stars for the future!

I think the big 3 will be traded if they won't retire for younger prospects.
If they should retire, boston celtics are good in developing talents from scratch to greatness. But you also have a good point that its nothing but doom. That is what being projected right now. And every team is experiencing the same situation after a glorious years. Like the Bulls in the 90s or the Lakers' Shaq-Kobe era. After the glorious years, they all went down and improve. Its up to Danny Ainge right now. Well DA is genius about getting good players. Just like he did when he formed the big 3.
Also, they can get future superstars and the big 3 will be coming off the bench. Their salary will be not as big as right now for the tide will turn around for the future superstars.
