Why Won't Yahoo Let Me Delete My Yahoo ID?
Get this, I was Barred from Yahoo Games for using a shortcut key that I've used for 4 yrs. now in my Pool League, til 2020, so, I decided to take everyones advise & just delete my ID & start over. Problem is, when I try to do that, Yahoo's refusing to give me the code below needed to verify the registration, thereby not allowing me to delete my current ID so that I can create a new one. It says, We're sorry, but no image is available at this time, try again later. I've already deleted all of my profiles & written down everything I need, to start over, but can't, because I can't get myself deleted, want to or not. I'm being forced to wait, who knows how long. What gall, first they Bar me, unneedlessly, & now they won't even let me delete my own self, as if I were a prisoner. Yahoo totally stinks.
You really don't HAVE to delete your current account, you know. Yahoo allows users to create multiple accounts. Click on this link: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_register
Follow the instructions, fill out the form, submit it and you'll have a new Yahoo! ID.
As for the old one, try another browser, or try someone elses computer. If you still get the same run around, forget about it. Abandoned accounts deactivate after 4 months anyway.
