What position should I look forward to play in college baseball?
I am a 6 ft., 175 pd. righthanded with an strong arm (I can trow 88 mph).
I can field both grounders and flies. I used to be a catcher (quit due to knee issues) so I can handle well my glove. I also play Soccer. Some of my best games have been as a first baseman, but i feel I would be wasting my arm. I am not Michael Jhonson, but I am fast. Even thought I can power hit to my field, I prefer to push the ball to the oposite side. I am a dedicated junior in high school that will work to get into any position; I just want to know what position might college coaches see me in to work more on it, specially when not pitching or if I do not make the pitching rotation.
i would say short, 2nd or 3rd. because of your knee injury you might not want to run around as much so outfield might be out of the question. it seems that there is a lack of good infielders. and these 3 position will require good arm strength.
