Do you think the Cubs will be able to get far in the playoffs, after they sign Milton Bradley?
He's coming to Chicago either Thursday or Friday to take his physical. If he passes it, the contract will be 3yr/$30M.
He's just another lefty batter for the Cubs.

Everyone wants to talk about how Bradley will ruin the team's chemistry, but no one knows what they are talking about. First off, how do you know how a group of 25+ guys are going to get along? Second, if you're 10 games ahead at the all-star break, no one is going to be complaining. Third, let's take a look at some other Chicago teams who have won recently with some players who had the potential to destroy "chemistry":
2005 White Sox had Carl Everett. He bounced around with several teams because he was a nut. Marlins, Mets, Red Sox, Rangers, White Sox (pre-2005), and Expos before he landed on the 05 White Sox. Oh, he also once got suspended for 10 days for chest-bumping an umpire. He also has been known for making controversial comments about the fans, the media, religion, conspiracy theories, and homosexuals. Despite all that, the White Sox managed to win it all in 2005.
The Bulls had the NBA's #1 bad boy Dennis Rodman for their second three-peat. Despite all the kicked camera men and ejections and other bizarre behavior both on and off the court, the Bulls managed to win an all-time best 72 games during their regular season, Rodman's first on the team, and win the championship all three seasons he played for the Bulls.
Even Chicago's favorite championship team, the 1985 Bears, had some colorful characters. Jim McMahon had a tough time avoiding controversy and Da Coach himself wasn't exactly one for making sure everyone on the team got along and was happy with each other's company.
So, to everyone who is predicting the downfall of the Cubs and the complete destruction of the clubhouse all due to Milton Bradley, just relax. It is possible to win with a nut on your team!
