What can i wear to my first MMA class?
so i signed up for an mma class, mainly for the brazilian jiu jitsu and wrestling section, what do i wear my first time? also do they make you take off your shirt when training, cause im kind of a germophobe and i dont want mat burns, so do you always wear a rashguard or shirt for sparring and training?
Taking off your clothes is one of the LEAST things they do. Actually, you never take off your clothes and it's recommended you stay clothed because of hygienic reasons. A rash guard is always the best option and is widely used and always recommended by a good instructor.
Also if you're going to train Brazilian Ju Jutsu, you're going to need a BJJ Gi.
When you're doing No-Gi you only need a T-shirt, though.
Another thing you need when sparring is a mouthguard. Unless you wanna risk losing your teeth when you get an accidental knee-uppercut.
