Who is going to pull the trigger and make a trade for Prince Fielder?
A Fielder trade seems almost inevitable, even if not during this season, definately during the offseason. He is expecting to get Mauer+ money according to a recent sports illustrated, so only a handful of teams (yankees, boston, angels, cubs, mets, possibly the White Sox and a few others) actually have the ability to sign him to a long term deal and have the players to give the Brewers in return. (and not all the teams i named even have a need at 1st base) So what do you think is the best/most likely destination for Prince?
I have to agree with Bryce Harper above. I really think that if anyone gets Prince it'll be the White Sox. They spend a lot more money than people give them credit for and a deal like this wouldn't be out of the question. The Sox have made a number of trades in recent years that nobody thought they could pull off. With that said, I give it like a 30% of actually happening. If i had to put my money on it, i'd say he's staying put for the rest of this year.
