Do colleges look at your JV season as well as Varsity?
I'm serious about making it to college/professional baseball when I'm older. I'm a freshman and I'm the starting 1B. My fielding is my strongest point (scooping, stretching, jumping [I'm only 5'5" as of now] and diving for the balls) But I've also got off to a good start with the bat. So, do colleges looks at your stats etc. from when you are on JV?
Most professional ball players started varsity as freshmen. Also: no. They are evaluating how they think you could do playing at their level and they are going to evaluate you based on watching you play against as high a level of competition as possible. If you do end up getting enough better so that colleges are interested in you by your senior year, they are not going to care if you blew up a bunch of other freshman three years ago by hitting .580 or something.
