What does it mean if my kitty's butthole is sticking out?!?
Is it a sign that my kitty's sick and aren't digesting the food proberly?!When we first got the cat,it's butthole was intact and normal size,now it's stretching alot bigger and sticking out alot and there's some sort of wet coming out of its butthole and getting on its tale?!I dunno if it could be something to do with its diet,maybe the dry cat food we gave her was too hard for her to digest ,or she has been eating too much and pooing too much?!
the food your cat's eating is not digesting properly and is irritating his butt. he's got diarrhea. and it's gonna make his butthole swell.
did you recently change it's food? it sometimes takes a while for a cat to adjust to a change in food.
you should probably see a vet. i took my kitten in for the same thing and got special kibble Eukanuba Feline Low Residue Dry. and an ointment to apply. both i had to get from a vet.
i also soaked his butt in a warm bath every day. it took over a week but eventually the swelling went away.
make sure your cat stays hydrated. give it lots of water, cuz having diarrhea can dehydrate them.
